The Florence County Library System offers high-quality resources to help in your career or job search. Whether you are learning new job skills, creating a resume, or searching for a job, the Library offers a variety of resources to assist you. These include free classes, hands-on workshops, online materials, free use of computers, and help from our well-trained library staff.

- Taught in our Main library’s high-tech computer classroom. Other classes held at our Olanta branch. All classes are free.
- Resume Workshops
- We provide computers with WinWay resume software for you to create a high-quality resume. Staff members are there to help if you need it.

- For reliable, essential career, job, and related information.
- Print Resources
- Don’t forget about books. We have them on everything from different careers to types of resumes.
- Small Business Collection
- Have you considered starting or acquiring a business? Our special collection has valuable information on all aspects of starting and running a business.
- Job Seekers at Olanta Library
- Job Seekers is a group of people seeking jobs and those willing to help these Job Seekers. Any looking for better opportunities are also welcome. The group meets once a month, and no work experience is required to attend. A reason for meeting is to experience the advantages of networking with others. We also discuss key parts of job searching. Topics will include:

- Employment applications
- Cover letters
- Resumes
- Interviewing
- Library resources
