


There will be a free Internet safety seminar at the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library on Thursday, September 9, 2010. This will help those who socialize on the Internet to better understand the benefits and dangers of social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook. The seminar will start at 6:00 PM for adults, parents, grandparents, librarians and educators (ages 18 and older only). This program will be given by Don Cantrell in conjunction with the South Carolina Association for Educational Technology and the South Carolina State Library.

The Florence Library Book Club theme for Fall 2010 is “Classics Made into Movies.” The meeting dates and book selections are as follows:
