No Library Card? Apply for a Temporary Card Online

While libraries are closed to the public during the COVID-19 crisis, you can still enjoy our online services, including Overdrive and RB Digital ebooks and e-audiobooks, DISCUS, and more. Fill out the application here: https://forms.gle/Vh7yNaphQ283xhCN7

This temporary library card is available to Florence County residents 18 and older who do not currently have a library card. These cards are valid throughout the coronavirus COVID-19 shutdown and provide access to ebooks, databases, and other online resources during the closure. You will be emailed a library card number after your application is processed. Card applications will be processed between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with most applications processed within 24 hours.

When the library reopens, you may convert this temporary card into a regular card by visiting any library branch with photo ID and proof of residency. After that you will have full access to all library services, including borrowing physical materials.

Please call your local library location or reach out on social media with any questions.
