Florence Library Presents Will Hillenbrand Virtual Program


The Children’s Services Department of the Florence County Library System will host a free prerecorded virtual program of Author/ Illustrator Will Hillenbrand from Wednesday, September 23, 2020 – Wednesday, October 14, 2020 on the library website at www.florencelibrary.org.

Will Hillenbrand is an award-winning author and illustrator whose published works include over 65 books for young readers.  Will uses a combination of traditional drawing methods and direct impression media to create his magical illustrations.  His Reading Bear artwork will be featured on the library’s new bookmobile and on new library cards for children.  His many honors include a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators and an American Library Association Notable Book award.
