The Florence County Library will be having registration for fall programs from August 8 through August 26, 2022. The library has planned a variety of programs for children. For more information and to register for the programs, please call the Greenberg Children’s Library at 843- 292-7382. Registration is required for all programs and space is limited for some programs. Daycare centers may call for a separate appointment for Preschool Storytime.
Family Storytime
The library will offer Family Storytime on Monday evenings for children 2-5 years old. The storytime will include stories, fingerplays, bubbles, puppets, simple crafts, and music for these programs. Family storytime will begin on Monday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. and last 30 minutes.
Preschool Storytime
The library will offer Preschool Storytime on Tuesday mornings for children 2-5 years old. The storytime will include stories, fingerplays, bubbles, puppets, simple crafts, and music for these programs. Preschool storytime will begin on Tuesday, September 6 at 10:30 a.m. and last 30 minutes.
Bilingual Storytime
The library will offer Bilingual Storytime on Tuesday evenings for ages 2 – 5. The storytime will include stories, fingerplays, simple crafts and music with a bilingual theme. Bilingual Storytime will begin Tuesday, September 6 at 6:00 p.m. and last 30 minutes.
Baby Storytime
The library will offer programs for babies 0 – 23 months old on Thursday mornings. An adult caregiver will need to stay with the baby during the 15 minute program. The programs will consist of music, fingerplays, bubbles and stories appropriate for these age groups. Baby Storytime will begin Thursday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m.
Craft Program
The library will offer craft programs for children in grades 5K-2nd on Thursdays. A variety of art forms will be introduced at each program. Craft programs will begin Thursday, September 8 at 3:30 p.m. last 30-45 minutes. Registration is required and space is limited.
STEM Program
The library will offer STEM programs for children in grades 3-5 on Thursdays. A variety of science concepts will be introduced at each program. STEM programs will begin Thursday, September 15 at 3:30 p.m. last 30-45 minutes. Registration is required and space is limited.
