Artist Reception and Exhibit Opening, “Vignettes Behind Stained Glass Windows” by Harry McFadden
The Doctor N. Lee Morris Gallery was filled with love, and joy, and artistic expression at the opening of Harry McFadden’s exhibit “Vignettes Behind Stained Glass Windows.” The community came out in droves to support a local artist who has clearly inspired and encouraged generations. McFadden spoke of the significance of looking through stained glass windows, and served mints and butterscotch candies to symbolize an older generation of women who always had something to give. It was truly a motivational night.
If you missed it, McFadden’s exhibit will remain open for viewing through Friday, May 16, 2025. Visitation to the Dr. N. Lee Morris Art Gallery on the second floor of Florence County Library is free and open to the public during normal operating hours:
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
