Teen Programming

Registration is required for all events.

 

Teen Craft Club
The Teen Craft Club for rising 6th through 12th graders will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Teens will create crafts to take home and also generate artwork to be displayed on the windows in the teen area. Our next Teen Craft Club will be on Tuesday, February 4th at 4:30 pm.

Teen Lego Club
The Teen Lego Club for rising 6th through 12th graders will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Teens will be given a topic to build using Legos or they can create any project they would like. Our next Teen Lego Club will be on Tuesday, January 21st at 4:30 pm.

Teen Game Club
The Teen Gaming Club for rising 6th through 12th graders will be held on the fourth Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Video, card, and board games will be available for teens to play. Our next Teen Gaming Club will be on Monday, January 27th at 4:30 pm.

New for 2025! Teen Art Club.

This Club is for rising 6th through 12th graders and will be held on the second Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

It is a place to learn about art styles and techniques and for teens to grow their artistic skills in a safe, fun, and positive space.

Teens will be introduced to and complete painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpting, photography, textiles, and mixed media projects. Near the end of each session, there will be a time to continue working on the previous month’s projects or to work on their own project that they have brought in.

Teen Art Club will meet on Janurary 13th, February 10th, March 10th, and April 14th at 4:30. Registration is required. For more info or to register for this program call (843) 292-7376. 

 

 


                    Pokemon Fan Club                    

Bring your Pokemon lovers to get in on the action! Activities will include learning how to play Pokémon trading cards, Pokémon Go, mainline game (i.e. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet) tournaments, manga reading circles, trivia, crafts, and more. Our next meeting date is February 12th at 4:30 p.m. in the Stukes Meeting Room. Registration is required. Space is limited. This program will be geared towards rising 5th through 12th graders and is free of charge. Some materials such as playing card mats and crafting supplies will be provided, though attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment. This equipment may include gaming consoles, trading cards, or mobile devices.

  • Wednesday, February 12 at 4:30 P.M.
  • Wednesday, March 12 at 4:30 P.M.
  • Wednesday, April 30 at 4:30 P.M.

The South Carolina State Library is providing access to tutor.com now on an ongoing basis. Tutor.com is an online tutoring company founded in 1998 that connects students to tutors in online classrooms. Users can connect with live tutors of more than 40 subjects online, including math, science, essay writing, foreign language and test prep.
